Whether it’s the senior prom, a sports tournament or an art fair at the local college, school events are those special times in our lives we never forget. Kids of all ages look forward to events at their school where they can interact with other children, play a fun game or simply show their parents all the great things they can do. And the memories certainly last! Ask any grown-up and they are sure to tell you about a school event or two that stuck in their memory all these years. So whether it’s in Elementary school or college, there are many different school events that stand out in American culture as student’s favorites.
Sporting events. Schools of all types are putting more and more money into sporting programs so boys and girls of all ages can play, no matter their skill level. Children as early as Kindergarten are encouraged to play sports on the playground in order to promote a healthy, active lifestyle. That, mixed with America’s love of a good sports game, is what makes junior high, high school and college games some of the most anticipated events around!
