How do I search for an Entertainment service in my area?
It’s simple! Just click on the “New Search” link at the top right of any page to get you back to the main “Homepage”. Once you’re on the “Homepage”, you can search based on your event or you can search based on the specific vendor you are looking for. In the next step, you will click on a State or Province. Select a City and the system will automatically process your search and display the results within seconds.
I made a selection following the steps above and nothing happened?
The site is designed to automatically process your search immediately after selecting a city/metro. Start over and go through each step in order. Make certain you have the latest version of your browser’s software. If you continue to have a problem, contact us.
I clicked on a State/Province on the map and nothing happened?
An alternative to clicking on the vendor or event type, is choosing a State or Province from the list just below the map. This will bypass the process above. Note: One reason the “flash map” path was rejected might be that your system is using an older version of your browser’s software. Check that you have the latest version of the browser software by going to that companies website (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, etc.). Most browser upgrades and downloads are free. By not having the latest version installed will most likely give you problems on other sites as well.
Do I need to join and become a member?
No. Memberships are reserved for Entertainment service related business that would like to have their company information in our directory for you to see. All visitors are free to view the site without telling us who you are. Have fun!
My local city is not listed, what do I do?
All major cities and cities within 50 miles from the next largest city are listed in our database. If your city is not listed, select the nearest city to your local area. Services available in your area will be listed there.
There are no listings (or just a few) under the search for my city?
Some of the smaller cities have a smaller list available because many of the companies elect to list their company in larger cities. Do a new search, by clicking on the “New Search” button at the top right corner of the page. Select the next closest city in your area.
The company I’m searching for is not listed?
It’s up to that company or service to log on, create an account, and submit their information into our database. If they are not in here, they are one of just a few that have not taken the time to log on and sign up just yet. Please contact us and we will help you locate them: click here.
Why do some listings appear larger than others in a search?
Each company has the option to display their listing where and how they choose by the listing package they purchase. The more expensive listing packages provide a company with a larger ad and greater exposure to promote their company to you.
I contacted a company and they have not replied yet, why?
PartyPlannerUSA is solely a directory and is not responsible for the actions taken or not taken by any company that has elected to list in our database. All we can tell you is to try again, maybe they did not receive your message, it happens!
What is the “Check Availability”* button that appears in some listings? This is a simple inquiry form that appears (as a pop-up box) for you to fill out regarding the specific details about your upcoming event, so the company can check their availability for your event date. See sample here. Once you have completed the form, click on the “Submit” button, located at the bottom of the form. Your information is then immediately delivered directly (via e-mail) to that specific company only, privately! Depending on the company, expect a reply, from that company, within 24 hours.
What is the “Photo Gallery”* button that appears in some listings?
View an array of photos from that companies events and services available to you. Click on the button, within their ad, and a pop-up page will appear. See sample here.
