Hands on experience that they never forget ! First touch of a lizard....at local nature center Alligators should be left in the wild. People buy them when a foot long then call us to rescue them when they reach 3, 4, 5, 7 foot long. Think twice before buying any reptile...maybe three times!!! Birthday surprise....she loves snakes..
learning about a Ball python and why they are called Ball pythons. learning about snakes at a nature center now Luke learned at his birthday party what a Uromastyx is ! She fell in love with the baby Ball python !
This is not a Coral snake, it is a Hond............. a non-venomous snake. Find out the name at our show.... Young Latin children learning about reptiles from their native lands! Ed and Jeanie meet Jungle Jack Hanna for the first time...what a beautiful zoo he has created in Columbus; all of his animals have spacious habitats... He is a true animal conservationist... "Wild Wacky Wednesday"at Sheffield Church. Even Pastor Shaeffer helped hold our little girl...
Learning the difference between tortoises and turtles... Reptile dysfunction !!! Man..that's one weird lookin' tortoise ! I don't think this is someone's pet....this thing should have been left where they found it... Toads taken from window wells at a house..released at a local park.This is part of our rescue efforts, saving local reptiles and amphibians. A photo given as a present to Brooks and Dunn's drummer Trey Gray!!! Trey is a supporter of fundraising efforts for Huntington's Disease as Jeanie and Ed also are. Thank you Trey !!
Hand cuffed !!...Boa style...good luck Ed... First touch of a reptile !  When you touch an animal, you really start to love them. Keeping the kids interested as they learn.  Hands on ...not just listening and learning. Happy birthday Summer..thanks for the extra hand...we needed it.
Reptile's guard dog on duty...doesn't look like it...must be break time. Snakes are not slimy after all...as alot of the kids thought they were. Judy and Kent help hold a Burmese....they love reptiles...they have Ball pythons and Box turtles that are over 25 yrs. old. thanks for helping , gets heavy after a while
Jeanie had some help from Andrej at the church ox roast in Chesterland. He really was interested in all of the animals we brought...even got his Mom to help hold a snake for a picture. 2nd visit to Sheffield church...the kids were great with the animals Ed and Jeanie at Kelley's Island finding Lake Erie water snakes basking in the sun. Kids look at live scorpion while others look at picture of her babies...the babies are white when born and ride on mom's back

Ctr. campout...campers learn the color pattern differences between our  milksnake compared to the wild Coral snake which is venomous
