When you book Behind The Mix Productions for your audio needs whether it’s DJ services, live sound, production work, or design you can take comfort in knowing that you will get me, me, and only me. I do not subcontract other, less experienced DJ's or partners. I'm there from start to finish, show after show, project after project, wedding after wedding, school dance after school dance, and house party after house party. So whether you see me at a party downtown on Friday night, or a wedding ceremony in the suburbs on Saturday night you can expect the same quality DJ entertainment night after night. I am dedicated to a very personal, one on one relationship with my customers. This is why many of my clients have chosen me over other companies.
With Behind The Mix, you know that you will get the same quality dj every time. There is no list of djs that are disbursed depending on the “price package” some of these other companies offer. Other companies pick the DJ for you, and it really is hit or miss on getting a good one. Also, I own my own equipment and music. This assures you that you are getting a DJ that is dedicated and committed, someone that has invested thousands of dollars in my business. This is unlike other services that provide the DJ’s with company owned equipment and tend to have high turnover rates. I have yet to disappoint a client with my DJ services, and I'm not about to let that happen. It's my job to show you and your guests a great time, and that's what I'll do!
Behind The Mix is not your average high-strung, corporate DJ Company. If your looking for the DJ who is going to bring party poppers and blow-up guitars to your event you’ve come to the wrong place. Of course I will have interaction with your guests, but it is always tasteful. My theory is that a DJ is there to keep the dance floor packed with his talent, not to be dancing around with confetti to keep your guests somewhat entertained. My goal is to provide my clients with professional entertainment that will have them, and their guests dancing the night away, but without the "cheese Factor" or the DJ who feel's the need to be the center of attention. You might say that my gimmick is my professionalism. I don't draw attention to myself; I draw attention to the dance floor.
I have been doing this a while now, and I have perfected my skills. Unlike most DJ’s today I’m still able to mix with turntables and vinyl if you would like. Yes they still make them! And it’s a real DJ that knows how to still do this. By mixing "old school" vinyl with modern day digital advancements, I have 1000's of songs at my fingertips via an Apple computer, and can take you on a musical journey that will have your school's dance floor packed all night long all without the old scratchy sounds commonly known to old records!
