Old Timey Films - It's a feeling, a sense of nostalgia, an emotional memory of a wonderful time gone by, kind of like watching your parents or grandparents wedding films.
Based in Boulder, Colorado (but we travel, too!) we are a dynamic film production company that takes a cinematic approach to Wedding Day filmmaking. Retro cool wedding films have a classic 1960's era look and feel. They are magical.
We use traditional cinematic techniques and the highest-quality, professional Super8 Film cameras (Canon and Nizo) to capture the true wonder of the most special day of your life!
Recording the whole event as if it's a business meeting is not what most people want to watch. It's tedious. It's long. It's not fun. Who really wants to sit through a 2-3 hour wedding video?
Short and sweet, your retro cool Super8 wedding film is a treat to watch with family and friends or on anniversaries. Like a good dessert, it's just enough to satisfy you.
That's what our films do, satisfy! We create wedding films that look like you want them to lookânostalgic, fun, artsy and timeless. We create an amazingly cinematic memory of your most special day, shot in glorious b&w/color on actual film, edited, set to music and delivered on both DVD and the web.
