Since June 2001, The Southeast's most exciting Beatles and 60s rock & roll band, The BackBeat has performed hundreds of shows across NC, SC and Virginia. We're based in Chapel Hill and play numerous club, campus, and civic events, but have also played weddings and private parties in the most distinctive ballrooms of the region including Carolina Inn(Chapel Hill), Washington Duke Inn (Durham), Biltmore Estate (Asheville), Grove Park Inn (Asheville) , Villa Capriani (N.Topsail Beach) and many more.
