I have over 30 years experience performing for wedding receptions, birthday parties, graduations and proms as well as anniversaries and don't forget the vast number of company Christmas parties. I have more music in my collection than I can ever play and can cover almost any request from the 1940's to the current Top 40. My library is updated each month with all the latest and greatest songs you hear on the radio in all genres of music.
I have 100's of references and many catering managers that refer me on a weekly basis. Since this is mainly a "word of mouth" type of business, I cherish those people and the fact that they feel confident enough to refer me. I have worked hard to gain their respect.
Beyond all the music and referals keep this in mind. Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life and there are no "re-do's". If the dj sucks, plays the wrong music, messes up important names and events, you can't come back next year and do it over again. Be sure you get the right person for your important day. Be cautious of the multiple dj companies who pick the guy or gal that is best for you. Look for experience, references and meet with the dj well in advance to make your judgement. This is the person that can make or break your wedding reception or company party.
